Delete your Moray account

For the Moray: Family Expense Tracker app (com.vlightsoft.moray), developed by Vlight Software Solutions.

Have a Google Play subscription? Cancel it first in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel it.

Option 1: in the app (fastest)

Open Moray and sign in.
Go to Me › Privacy and data. If you want a copy of your entries, tap Export my entries first.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Option 2: without the app

If you uninstalled Moray or cannot sign in, email us from the address you use to sign in to Moray:

Send an email to admin@vlightsoft.com with the subject “Delete my Moray account”.
If the email comes from a different address, we will ask you to confirm from your Moray sign-in address.
We confirm when the request is filed (usually within 7 days).

What happens next

30-day grace period. Your account stays recoverable for 30 days. Sign in during that time and you can cancel the deletion.
After that, your account is deleted within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile, sign-in email, password and linked Google sign-in.
Your household memberships, settings, AI chat history, invite code and pending referral rewards.
Families where you are the only member, with all their entries, accounts, budgets, bills, goals, attachments and receipts.
Captured bank-message text and account suggestions that belong to you.

What is kept, and why

Data	What happens	How long
Entries you shared in a family that has other members	Stay with that family so their records remain complete; your name is removed from them. If you were the owner, ownership passes to another adult member.	as long as that family keeps them
Purchase and billing records	Kept to meet tax and accounting law	up to 8 years

Delete only some data

You don't have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can delete any entry, clear AI chat history, turn off SMS or notification capture, and remove bank or card accounts. You can also email admin@vlightsoft.com to ask us to delete specific data.
