Information we collect

We may collect contact and profile details such as name, verified email, telephone number, company, role and profile photograph; account and authentication records; project, support, partnership, waitlist and feedback submissions; testimonial consent; career information and résumés; and technical records required to secure and operate the website.

Please provide only information needed for the request. Do not include secrets, production credentials, payment-card data or unrelated sensitive personal information in free-text fields.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, answer enquiries, assess and deliver services, manage projects and support, review job applications, operate administrative workflows, publish approved testimonials, improve website content, prevent abuse and meet legal or contractual obligations.

Cookies and optional analytics

Essential browser storage supports sign-in, security and saved privacy choices. If you accept optional analytics, a random browser identifier may be stored for up to 90 days and a session identifier groups public page views. Reports may show new or returning browsers, page paths, view times and counts. This optional history is not designed to contain names, email addresses, IP addresses, form contents or private-dashboard activity.

We do not use this optional analytics feature for advertising. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookies & privacy”. Browser privacy signals may keep optional analytics disabled.

Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to take requested pre-contract steps, perform a contract, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or act on consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis.

Service providers and disclosure

We may use carefully selected providers for hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, file storage, analytics, currency reference data and business operations. These can include Netlify, Supabase, ZeptoMail and Google authentication. Providers process information under their own terms and applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or systems, during a legitimate corporate transaction, or to a delivery partner when necessary and appropriately controlled.

Feedback, testimonials and profile images

Feedback is private by default. We publish a testimonial only when the submitter has given publication consent and an authorized Vlightsoft administrator has approved it. A profile image is displayed with a testimonial only when the relevant account and publication choices permit it. You may ask us to remove a published testimonial.

Careers and résumés

Career applications and attached résumés are used to evaluate potential employment or engagement. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and relevant service providers. Do not submit government identifiers, health information or other sensitive records unless specifically requested through a secure process.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for the time needed to provide services, maintain project and audit records, resolve disputes and comply with law. Optional browser analytics is designed around a 90-day browser identifier. Other periods depend on the record, contractual requirements and legal obligations. Deletion requests may be limited where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims or statutory records.

International processing and security

Our providers and clients may operate in different countries, so information can be processed outside your location with contractual, technical or legal safeguards where required. We use role-based access, protected server-side credentials and reasonable administrative and technical controls. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a regulator. Contact us from the email associated with the record so we can verify the request. You can also manage profile information and privacy preferences through the website where available.

Children, external links and updates

Our business services and website accounts are not directed to children under 18. External websites and platform providers have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
